Protein molecules are often PEGylated for the advantages the larger PEGylated molecules bring in safer absorption rates, lower levels of toxicity and increased drug stability in the bloodstream.

 

Exelead’s commercial contract manufacturing operation offers a full complement of GMP-certified PEGylation services to our clients, including the formulation analysis and manufacturing process development needed by clients still in the early stages of their molecule development.

 

Our facility manufactures 3 out of 17 commercially available PEGylated products. Our manufacturing processes can accommodate first, second and third generation PEG derivatives. Manufacturing capacity can scale up or down to meet your needs, producing as little as 1 liter to 1,000 liters in one batch.
